Corinda Residence - Coming Soon

For this young professional family of four, home was already familiar, but no longer functional. Having renovated once before, they knew what worked and what didn’t. This time, the focus was to create more breathing room, better flow, and a home that truly supports the rhythm of their changing lifestyle.

The existing layout forced too many spaces to serve multiple purposes, creating friction in daily life. The brief called for a major extension and full internal rework. Encompassing opening up the kitchen and living areas as the social heart of the home, while introducing distinct zones for work, rest, and play.

Each element was curated to balance practicality and refinement, creating a layout that felt well-designed and effortless to live in. Through detailed space planning, intentional proportion and restraint, and intricate craftsmanship, we redefined how the family could experience their home day to day.

Two dedicated work-from-home spaces were introduced to provide focus and privacy. The kids gained their own living area to grow into, while an executive-style Master Suite offered a private retreat for the parents. The new kitchen and living extension became a light-filled, spacious centrepiece of the home, designed for connection. 

A reimagined Queenslander that finally fits its family. With every space now designed for purpose, the home feels calm, cohesive, and personal. A reflection of who they are today, with room to grow into tomorrow.
